About The Course

Our course is designed for children who are currently on a bike with stabilisers or a balance bike and are "Ready" and "Willing" to take the next step in cycling.

We cater for children of 4 years old and above.

The course is delivered through 4 x 1 hour lessons.  However most children are able to cycle by the end of the third lesson.  The cost is £119.99.

We request that parents leave their children in our capable hands, so please be sure your children are happy being left alone.  

Each lesson is on a different day.

Lesson days vary between weekends, after school and during school holidays (please see our 'Booking' page for available courses).

All of our courses are held indoors in a dry and safe environment.

We provide all equipment needed including bicycles and helmets.

By the end of the course, participants should be able to start cycling independently followed by being able to stop their bike in a controlled and safe manner.

On completion of the course, all participants are presented with a certificate and a goodie bag at our graduation ceremony, which all parents are invited to.  This happens 15 minutes before the end of the fourth lesson.

It is essential that following completion of the course, parents/guardians provide their children with the opportunity to continue developing the skills they have learnt.

Tips and guidance to assist in developing your childs cycling ability will be provided at the end of the course, based on each individuals development.

Should you find that after completing our course, followed by continued cycling opportunites and encouragemnt, that your child has not mastered the ability to cycle independently and safely, following a quick assesment, we will invite you back to our next available course at no additional charge.

Our continued support and advise is always on hand, even after the completion of our course.  With the benefit of Adam owning Birdie Bikes in Hampton Village, he is not to hard to track down should guidance or advice be needed.  Otherwise a quick email or phone call is always welcome.
